This is what to send to The Gate:
Photos 8x10 glossy and professional preferred. Photos from digital cameras must be at highest resolution. Unformatted text on diskette or e-mail to Help Desk & tell us what goes on the cover, the tray card, etc. (NOTE: we are not responsible for proofing) A print out of the text to reference against the diskette or e-mail A description of your vision, including which photo goes where, how the text is arranged with photo, colors you like, the “mood” you are trying to convey, etc. Sketches or mockups of your design ideas – the more you show us what you want, the better we can bring your vision to life.
Changes or Additions to Designs:
After we have completed your design based on your instructions, we will send you an Adobe Acrobat PDF proof for you to review by e-mail. We can also send you a color proof if requested. Once in a while, clients want to make small changes. If The Gate has made the mistake we will gladly make the corrections at no charge. If the client would like to make additional changes to the art, we encourage you to think carefully about what you want before you initiate any changes. Additional changes requested after the first viewing may result in a fee of $80.00 per hour to complete your vision.

Custom Design Services:
Some of our clients really want special design effects, like a back drop of fire or sky, or 3-D alien landscapes. No problem – The Gate does it all. Please submit your ideas with your project and our Graphic Design Department will contact you with an estimate. Our rates are very reasonable and you will be impressed with the results.
